Co-founder & CEO · Head of Mathematics
25+ years teaching secondary mathematics across Australian schools. Completed her Doctorate of Business Administration in 2024. The classroom voice behind Acrux — and the person who's marked enough papers to know exactly why this needs to exist.
Paul Kamarudin
Co-founder & CTO
Technologist who got tired of watching Leanne mark papers every Sunday night. The idea for Acrux started in 2019 — the product started being built in 2023. Handles technology, marketing, and the operational side of running a growing EdTech company.

Remote-first across Australia today, with EU expansion through 2026–2027. Roles are timezone-friendly — we don't expect 3am stand-ups.
How we hire
No 7-round interview gauntlets. A conversation with Leanne or Paul, a short practical task, and a chat with the team. That's it.
Who we hire
People who put teachers first. Technical skill matters — belief in the mission matters more. Teaching experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
